Based on feedback gathered during our open house workshop in October and the first online survey, three preliminary skatepark concepts have been developed for further input.
Results & Preferred Skatepark Terrain Style
Results from the first survey shown above (data from New Line Inc.)
The feedback highlighted a strong preference for Bowl/Transition Terrain, with 70% of respondents favouring features that promote flowing movement and continuous lines.
Popular elements included the Mini Ramp and Flow Bowl, which cater to riders seeking speed and carving opportunities.
Although Street/Plaza Terrain received 30% of the vote, technical features like flat ledges and benches were still considered important for variety and trick performance.
The designs will prioritize versatility and flow, accommodating riders of all skill levels while maintaining a clean, functional layout.
Considering the park's site constraints and budget, the proposed design options focus on creating smooth transition zones while incorporating select street elements for variety. The final design will reflect your feedback and may blend elements from all three concept options.
